Chavin: Artifacts

Artifacts

Since the majority of artifacts of the this civilization were found on the archaeological site Chavín de Huántar, it is no surprise that the Chavín have gained this name. The Chavín people inhabited the Northern Andean Highlands, along with the Mosna Valley (both in Peru) from 900 BCE - 250 BCE.
